In this painting one can see one formal element that is the colour. The artist managed to create a face by mixing different paint. In my opinion I didn’t like this painting because there are number of colour mixed together.

In this painting there are formal elements that are lines and colours. The artist used a lot of lines and colours to create the face. I didn’t like this either because as I said for the other painting there are number of colours and lines.

In this painting, the artist managed to create a face with only colours. There is contrast in the colours. The face on this painting looks like he is sleeping and relaxed. I liked this painting because the artist mixed many colours in each other and created a face.

The artist used only colours to create this face. There is contrast in colours such as there is contrast between red and yellow because the red is darker than the yellow. I didn’t like this painting because it took me sometime to notice that there is a face.
